2015 MTB League - Round 8

Tonight is the mid way point of the league. At this stage we'd like to extend our thanks to everyone who has helped get Bellurgan Park in order, race marshalls, photographers, spectators and of course all the participants!

We're in Bellurgan Park for something a little different. A short short loop with loads of laps. At least 6 but we will confirm the final lap count later today as we have a last minute course walk to carry out first.

The course will be clearly marked and begins roughly the same as last week, but you drop out of the Laurels onto the fire road and cut across directly to the top of the Rock and the Root so it's a nice short climb, lots of technical singletrack and a great course for spectators to come and watch! The crossover point is an entirely new piece of trail so this part of the loop will be new to everyone and opens up more possibilities for future events.

We'll have the tent and a bit of shelter setup in case of poor weather. Parking for riders is at the bottom car park. Spectators, marshals, photographer or anyone without a bike can park at the top car park. Looking forward to seeing you there. There might even be a few beers after the race!
