2015 MTB League - Round 15

Tonight is the final round of the league.  We'd like to extend our thanks to everyone who has helped make this XC League what it is, race marshalls, photographers, spectators and of course all the participants!

We're in Bellurgan Park for something different again. A repeat of the short course we had in Round 8 with loads of laps. At least 7 but we will confirm the final lap count on the night as we'll have a last minute course walk to carry out first.

The course will be clearly marked and begins at the top car park following the normal route as if going to the drop-off via the Laurels, but you'll turn Left off the normal course just as the climbing gets a bit tougher onto the fire road and cut across directly to the top of the Rock and the Root so it's a nice short climb, lots of technical singletrack and a great course for spectators to come and watch! The crossover point is an entirely new piece of trail so this part of the loop will be new to everyone and opens up more possibilities for future events.

We'll have the tent and a bit of shelter setup in case of poor weather. Parking for Marshals is at the top car park, for riders it is at the bottom car park and for spectators, photographer or anyone without a bike can park below the area of the Tombstone.
