The club was well represented at the cyclocross races over the weekend. On Saturday in St. Annes Park in Raheny, Dublin the 4th round of the Supercross Cup was held and the club had 7 riders taking part in the 2 races. The course was a very technical affair, with a mix of forest, grass and tarmac and featured a number of steep drops and a long run of steps, which forced the riders to dismount and carry their bikes. In the A race Johnny McCabe was the highest finisher in 20th position, with Gary Shiels back in 33rd. Gerry McCabe had been going well but was forced to retire with a mechanical. Meanwhile in the B race Seamus McEvoy came home in 11th with Declan McCabe, who suffered a bad fall, in 14th. Aaron McCann was second junior home in 29th and Liam Dolan in 36th.[[{"type":"media","view_mode":"media_large","fid":"158","attributes":{"class":"media-image aligncenter size-medium wp-image-405","typeof":"foaf:Image","style":"","width":"300","height":"224","alt":""}}]]
