It was another good weekend of racing for Cuchulainn Cycling Club's riders in the IVCA League. National Masters 60 Champion Jimmy Flynn, followed up his recent 2nd place in the Dundalk round, with his first win of the season in the 75km race. Also finishing on the podium was club chairman Sé Weston who finished 3rd.
Meanwhile on the leisure front a large number of the club's cyclists swapped Ireland's changeable weather for a trip to Majorca to compete in it's infamous 312 cycling challenge, a 225km event which includes the island's mountainous Serra de Tramuntana region. Perhaps the most impressive performer came from the club's oldest active member, Jim Wallace, who completed the event.
Closer to home 12 of the club's ladies competed the 50km Pink Ribbon event in Moynalty.
