Leinster and Louth Hill Climb Champs

Leinster
1st Roisin Kennedy Arcane Cycling Team 6mins 48secs
2nd Johanna Rogan Ardee 7mins 26secs
3rd Celine Mc Phillips Cuchulainn 7mins 29secs
Louth
1st Johanna Rogan Ardee 7mins 26 secs
2nd Celine McPhillips Cuchulainn 7mins 29 secs
3rd Rosena Lynch Cuchulainn 8mins 28secs
Thursday 18th August saw Cuchulainn CC host the Leinster and Louth Hill Climb Champs up Jenkinstown Hill. Only 1.6km long but with a 8% gradient. Cuchulainn Ladies once again but in a great performance.Rosemary Gibson also raced but missed out on a podium position. We had new faces to the Champs this year. Conditions were overcast, no rain but just a bit cool.
Leinster:
Roisin Kennedy was the winner, coming in ahead of Ardees Johanna. We'll be keeping our eye on Roisin next year ;-). Celine got 3rd place only 3 secs behind Johanna. This was Johanna’s first attempt at the Hill Climb Champs.
Louth
Johanna claims the coveted Louth jersey just beating Celine. Cuchulainns Rosena Lynch has had a great Bike Station League season. This was her 1st time for the Hill Climb.
