Cycling for Under 12's
Cuchulainn Cycling Club are holding a registration and information night for the launch of the first Cycling Ireland Sprocket Rocket Programme.
The event will take place in Oriel Park on Monday, March 14th from 6 - 7pm with the programme to start on March 28th.
Please note bicycles are not required for the registration night.
We would ask children and parents to attend and those interested in getting involved with Coaching.
WHAT IS SUBWAY® SPROCKET ROCKET
Sprocket Rocket is a foundation Cycling Skills Programme which focuses on delivery to youths aged 8 to 12 years old but can actually be delivered to anyone of any age.The Sprocket Rocket Programme was originally developed by BMX Australia and has been modified by Cycling Ireland to suit the Irish environment.SUBWAY® Sprocket Rocket Programme is aimed at developing basic skills required to ride a bike. The programme requires riders to complete skill tests at three levels of difficulty for each basic skill.
