Bryan McCrystal wins Ulster 25mile Time Trial Championships......sort of!
The Ulster 25mile Time Trial Championships was held on Sunday last (September 22nd) on the Dungannon to Ballygawley dual carriageway. Good road surfaces, mild temperatures and a light wind made for fast times for the 55 riders who signed on. Quickest on the day was Cuchulainn's Bryan McCrystal with a blistering 52:59. This time was 45seconds faster than Daniel Stewart. However as a Leinster resident & riding with a Leinster club Bryan was not eligible for the gold medal and had to settle for just the bragging rights as Stewart took home the gold medal.
