Round 15: Ravensdale Circuit (40.0k)

Round 15 takes us back for the final time this year to the Ravensdale circuit, where Liam Dolan and William Loughlin took the honours in Race 1 and 2 respectively.

The route is familiar to most everyone by now, starting with a fast section to Majors Hollow, onto Fitzpatricks left turn and then a steady uphill drag to Ravensdale before climbing Crillys Hill and back onto the Newry Road for another circuit.

With 4 rounds left, the final group moves have been made and none will follow until the end of the season. Riders are moved not on accumulated points, but on demonstrating a clear ability to ride at a higher standard and to make it fairer for all participants in the individual groups. All movers are listed below. We have tried to be fair and balanced in our decisions, but as usual if there are any comments you would like to raise, please contact the committee at league@dundalkcycling.com

Most groups are evenly balanced at the moment with a number of riders being in good positions to take prizes at the end of the season.

League prizes will be awarded as follows:

• Race League Overall
• Race 1 Winner
• Race 1 Runner Up
• Race 1 3^rd Place
• Race 2 Winner
• Race 2 Runner Up
• Race 2 3^rd Place
• Group 1/2/3/4/5/6 Winner
• Ladies Award

Cuchulainn CC will also sponsor a number of their own awards on the night.

A point to note for all prospective prize winners; by completing 3 marshalling nights, you will accumulate a maximum of 30 points all going towards your final accumulated points total.

Please take some time this week to review the race groups to ensure you both sign on and race in the correct group.

Marshal Group 3: Padraic Murphy (+353 86 824 3163) is lead marshal this week replacing Alan Bingham. If you have not done so, please make contact with Padraic/Alan to confirm your attendance.
